9. Boo's diagnosis and prognosis

   Boo's diagnosis came back today (I would like to thank those of you who contributed some to help pay for the test).  He most likely has FIP or Feline Infectious Peritonitis.   There's no cure and it will eventually kill him (doc gave him 6 months).  Dr. W said it would not be a painful death, just that he'll feel like shit, and mentioned I would probably end up having to euthanize him. So, yeah, I wish I had more than a shot of rum left, and I wish I could drink it...
